Sarah: Real CB Bride

I met Sarah at a Melbourne Trunk show with her beautiful mother and aunt. Sarah is one half of the dynamic duo that is Esteta, an interior architecture and design firm that creates honest and sophisticated buildings and spaces. We hit it off immediately as Sarah knows quality and refinement as soon as she sees it. Serendipitously, as we were discussing Sarah's inspiration for her wedding gown through some saved images, the Bukowski gown appeared across her screen. I knew this was going to be an exciting experience for Sarah - and so began the beautiful journey in working together to create her magic look for Sarah's incredible destination wedding.

Sarah's wedding took place in the dream destination of Puglia, Italy. Rustic, romantic, timeless and so filled with love. Sarah generously and graciously shared her wedding images and her Carte Blanche Bride experience. We are absolutely delighted to showcase it as one of our favourite weddings of 2020...

I booked in for one of the Melbourne Trunk Shows, a bit unsure of what to expect and was so happily surprised to be greeted by Anastasia in the foyer of the Park Hyatt and ushered to one of the suites for a ‘private’ consultation… Here I was expecting that I’d be in a ballroom with several [other] brides and was a bit daunted by the thought of it! But it was far from daunting…

Anastasia was so personable and an absolute delight. And the experience was so very special. I attended with my Mum and Aunty, and we enjoyed champagne on arrival and they relaxed whilst I tried on several dresses.

This experience was extra special for me as the first dress I selected from the array of hanging dresses was my ‘dream dress’ that I’d recently seen in Vogue but had no idea of the brand and hadn’t yet delved in to research.

I was set on this dress and although we all felt it was ‘the one’ it was my first visit to look at any dresses so Anastasia was very patient by letting me think it over and then also providing a second visit to attend with my besties to make absolutely sure it was the one… and it was! Anastasia is very personable, honest, and lovely to work with. She’s a details person and this shows through the overall experience. Everything about the experience felt glamorous and special and there was no makeup stains on the trial dresses (!) which I’d experienced for another friend’s wedding from very high-end local ateliers. I would highly recommend Carte Blanche Bride for anyone looking for something glamorous but still effortless, classy and special experience."
