Gigi visited us at one of Carte Blanche Bride's annual trunk shows. Her bubbly and effervescent nature was apparent as soon as she walked in the door. Gigi wanted style, romance and a little bit of the French 'Je ne sais quoi' about her wedding dress and boy, did we have fun helping her find it.
Gigi selected a beautiful two-piece combination from the inimitable Laure de Sagazan. The lace blouse named MURAT and the beautifully formal full length skirt named CASSEL.

Gigi shares her experience with us in her own beautiful words:
"When it got to wedding planning time I will be the first to admit that I had no idea what to do. I mean, who knows how to plan a wedding? So I trudged to a few different bridal boutiques where I found the whole process extremely overwhelming, unpleasant and very impersonal.
However, when I went to Carte Blanche Bride it was just like the movies: there were no other brides at my appointment, I was given a glass of bubbles and shown the dresses, tops and skirts for me to browse at my leisure and select what I wanted to try on, rather than having poofy dress after poofy dress thrown at me by a shop assistant.
I loved loved loved my top and skirt by Laure de Sagazan. My dad's family is French so I wanted something from a French designer but also wanted something that was simple, elegant, a little bit different and most importantly, comfortable enough to dance in (it was great being able to wave my hands above my head on the d-floor!)
Anastasia looked after the whole process from start to finish, including alterations which made things super easy."
